There is no quick fix for the damage you can cause if you drive while impaired. You could seriously injure or kill someone, lose your license or your car, spend time in jail, or pay fines. Be a responsible driver and plan your night out.
Protect yourself and others
Be aware of the risks and plan ahead to protect yourself and others:
- Leave your car at home
- Never ride in a car with someone who has been drinking
- Be a responsible host
- Report impaired drivers
- Use a designated driver
- Spend the night and drive home the next day
- Family members agree to call for a safe ride home
